About Us
Our journey begins with the heartfelt dedication of two early years educators who are experienced in working with children from birth to age seven. Fuelled by our passion for creating a nurturing environment, we’re here to support your child’s learning and development every step of the way.
We adhere to the Early Years Principles, which include:
- Providing a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children to learn and develop.
- Promoting positive relationships and effective communication among children, parents, and staff.
- Supporting each child's unique needs, interests, and abilities through tailored learning experiences.
- Encouraging active learning through hands-on exploration, play, and discovery.
- Fostering the holistic development of children, encompassing their physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and creative skills.
- Collaborating with parents and families to ensure continuity of care and to support children's learning at home.
Our Approach
We want our children to be brimming with confidence, curiosity and a love for learning.
Our ambitious, child-centred approach ensures that each child receives the individualised attention and guidance needed to reach their full potential. Our experienced and dedicated team observes the children during their daily routines and plans activities and learning experiences to further develop their interests. We encourage parents to share what their children have been doing outside of nursery so that we can incorporate these experiences into our activities at nursery. This way, we can scaffold their learning and provide opportunities that challenge them effectively.
We empower young children to become confident thinkers, proactive doers, and enthusiastic investigators, laying the foundation for a bright future ahead.
Our Aim
- Create a nurturing environment that embraces a holistic approach to foster children’s development and ensure their well-being.
- We aim to support all children attending our nursery to attain their maximum potential within their individual capabilities.
- We aim to work closely with parents and carers to create a seamless partnership, where we can learn from each other and ensure your child's needs are met.
We follow the Early Years Principles which enable us to:
- Provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children to learn and develop.
- Promote positive relationships and effective communication between children, parents, and staff.
- Support each child's unique needs, interests, and abilities through individualised learning experiences.
- Encourage active learning through hands-on exploration, play, and discovery.
- Foster the holistic development of children, including their physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and creative skills.
- Collaborate with parents and families to ensure continuity of care and support children's learning at home.
We follow the best practices and guidelines set forth by early childhood education frameworks, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), to ensure quality and consistency in the education and care we provide, which enables us to create an inclusive and welcoming environment that celebrates diversity and respects the rights and identities of all children and families.
The safety and welfare of each child is paramount….
